I was reared in a Christian home, on the mission field. At the age of five, while on furlough in the United States, I realized my need for Salvation. My father knelt down beside my bed with an open Bible and showed me how to be saved. That evening I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart and save me. About a year later, back on the mission field, I was baptized by my father. Growing up on the mission field definitely had a positive impact on my view of world missions.

At the age of fourteen, while at summer camp, I surrendered to go to the mission field. For a number of years afterward the Lord continued to work in my heart, and there were times that I resisted. With my heart still tender to the things of the Lord, I re-surrendered in 2000. It was a total surrender to do what ever the Lord has for my life. After a trip to Central America, God confirmed that missions was where He was calling me.

In 2002, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky to continue my education. While at Shawnee Baptist College I meet Laura, and in 2003 we were married. After praying for a ministry to be involved in, Laura and I began working with a Chapel ministry that was part of Shawnee Baptist Church. After working with the Chapel ministry for nine months, I assumed the Pastoral position of the Chapel which was named Berean Baptist Church. I pastored for twenty-three months at Berean Baptist Church. In 2005, I was ordained at Shawnee Baptist Church, Pastor Lonnie Mattingly. Our sending church is Salem Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, pastored by Philip Blackwell.

God has blessed us with seven children, Mazerik, Andrea, Javan, Evelyn, Ingrid, Jowan and Joram.
