May 2016 Prayer Letter

May 2016

Greetings!

I want to thank each one who faithfully prays for us! We can see God working in our lives, and know we have many praying for us!

For Easter, our whole family went to the village of Ambohimahatsinjo, where we have been working for the last year and a half. We had a good couple of days camping in our tent, teaching, and participating in the church services.

When we are not in Ambohimahatsinjo I am teaching a discipleship/evangelization course at a church in town. At the beginning of the year, the pastor asked if I would teach this course.  I started in March, and it has been going well. The first Sunday of May I asked for testimonies, and it was good to hear how people are implementing what they are learning. The pastors wife lead a girl to the Lord in a village, and she has begun a Bible study course. Another lady was able to present the Gospel to three ladies she works with. Although, they did not respond to the Gospel the seed has been planted!

At the beginning of 2013, we were given money to buy mosquito nets to distribute here in Madagascar. It took awhile, but we finally found the nets. So, we coordinated with a church in East of Madagascar to distribute the nets through their network. The nets were for combating malaria, and we partnered with these local churches to give out the gospel and to distribute the nets. At the end of April we were able to present the Gospel to the local government officials and local tribal leaders. A thousand nets were distributed at a cost of less than $2 each. While we were there we saw the need, and we also so the possibility of a few open doors for future ministry!

Thank you for your faithful support, please keep us in your prayers!

In Christ,
