We are in the Spring of the year, here in Madagascar. The days are getting slightly longer, and much more sunny and warm.

I was able to finish the teaching in the village of Ambohimahatsinjo in September. This has been a huge project that we have been involved in for 2 years. The church has been established, and will soon have their own leadership elected from their own church body. We will be having a graduation service soon. What a blessing that will be!

In October, I began teaching an Evangelism and Discipleship class at a church in town for a fellow missionary. It has been good and challenging. I have been able to teach two class so far, for a total of 6 hours of instruction completely in Malagasy. This will really help strengthen my language skills.

We are planning on returning to the US in August of 2017 for a one year furlough. We are looking forward to seeing our families and our home church, as well as being able to report to our supporting churches. We came to the field at 75% support, and in order for us to continue developing ministry here we will need to raise the remainder of our support while we are back on furlough. Please pray with us concerning the following:

-That we and our children will be able to handle the transition well.

-That we will be able to raise the support needed.

-That we will have wisdom in planning our travels.

-That we will find good deals on flights, a vehicle, school materials and other things needed for our return.

-That we will be able to communicate the work and the need here.

In Christ,
