As the pandemic continues to be active around the world, we can be comforted in the knowledge that God is still in control and is on the throne. We have gone through another severe lockdown which started in March and ran through early June. A nightly curfew was in place, and the weekends were restricted to a greater degree with no church being able to have services. Thankfully, we are back to in-person services now and the majority of restrictions have been lifted.
Throughout the lockdown period, I was able to continue outreach efforts in Ambohitrimanjaka. Each Friday a couple of men from a fellow missionaries church and I go out to evangelize and pass out tracks. On July 2nd, I met with the three men and Ben Anglea, a fellow missionary, to discuss a plan for starting the Bible study. Our first major hurdle is to find a place to meet, and we will be looking at places over the next several weeks. Please be in prayer for us as we look for a place to rent and subsequently begin the Bible study.
We have included a new family photo in this prayer letter. We have had several requests for a new photo, some of those requests were made a while ago, and we apologize for only now getting to provide an updated photo.
Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord and for praying for us here in Madagascar.
