As the weather turns warmer in North America, we are going into our Fall and Winter Season here in Madagascar. At the same time we are hearing that there is a spike in Corona virus cases, like there is in the US. Of course, with a resurgence in cases it raises the potential of a lock down here, and when that happens it makes life a little more challenging.
So far we have been blessed to be able to do outreach in a new area called Ambohitrimanjaka. Consistently, I have been able to have two other men helping each week on the outreach. We have almost completed our first canvassing effort. Our goal is to start a Bible study in this area in May or June of this year. Please pray for open doors and hearts as we evangelize this area.
Teaching is going well even with some stops and starts. One of the students in the Bible institute has diabetes and has been sick recently, so we have not had as much time doing the Bible institute. Both English classes are going well, and it seems like the students are able to make some headway in learning English. One of the classes in a church the other is with a NGO, but I have started having the students memorize simple Bible verses to help them remember the English words that we are using. We took a break from classes over Easter, but with the COVID cases on the rise it remains to be seen whether we will be able to resume classes.
Thank you for your prayer on or behalf.
