We are in the Spring of the year here in Madagascar, and recently we had a bit of a heatwave. When the rains finally broke loose it was pleasant and made for comfortable sleeping weather at night.
We have been out of lock down for about 6 weeks and things seem to be back to some sort of normal, especially, after they removed the tanks and armed military from major intersections.
I have begun going out evangelizing people I know in my neighborhood. The hope is to work with another missionary to do some outreaches in a new area in the new year. Please keep this as a matter of prayer. The Bible institute was resumed and we are now taking a break until after the new year. Things get busy with Christmas season for many. We also started an English class, and Lord willing we will have two or three English classes started in the new year also. Also, in the new year we are looking at going back to the village of Ambohimahatsinjo to finish up teaching through 1 and 2 Thessalonians. Please keep all of these projects in your prayers.
We are still waiting for our new visas, which should be available soon. Laura wanted to make it back to visit James in the US, but due to travel restrictions and no flights has not been able to. A few flights come and go, but they are super expensive.
